As a pharmacist by training, Anita brings over 30 years of Drug Development experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.  She spent the first half of her career leading late phase programs in Clinical Development for a major pharmaceutical company and has directed programs in Regulatory Affairs for the latter half.  Anita has experience in multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiology, pain and inflammation, endocrinology, infectious diseases, neurology, and women’s health. She has supported teams through all stages of development from Pre-IND to NDA with significant experience in Breakthrough Therapy Designation, Fast Track Designation, Orphan Drug Designation and Emergency Use INDs.  In addition, Anita is proud to precept PharmD students from the University of Michigan in her role as Clinical Associate Adjunct Professor.
